Speaking as a contractor. At the minimum, the load calculation software needs to have the ability to include the contractors name, contact information, and license number to the report, in order to be used as an approved calculation at the local building departments here. This is an accountability criteria required by the building departments. It would also be nice to add a logo if possible.
Regardless it is a helpful field tool for technicians to quickly verify proper system capacity when they cannot explain why a system is not maintaining a structures indoor design temperature.
